How to Add or Create Menu Bar in Blogger

Adding menu bar is the basic stage for designing  a blog, it's very useful for heading from one page to other page quickly.

Creating menu bar in WordPress is very easy but its little difficult to create on Blogger, if the person is new to blogger.

Menu bar is easy way to head from one page to other as well as it's helpful to determine what kind of topic are included in the blog.

This post will guide you how to add MenuBar and how do characterize it

Menu can helps you for characterize your post, characterization can possible with the help of label. every blogger must create it, because reader loves easy navigation's.  

So, let's start.

I assume you have created 2 pages for your blog that are contact and about page, if your blog does't have any page, create it first, don't know how, see my below post.

• How to Create Page In Blogger

Blogger Dashboard > Layout > Add a Gadget > Pages

Select those pages which you want to use as MENU, and then save it.

Once done, you will see your page gadget, if your gadget is in header then don't need to move it, if your gadget is in sidebar then move it to header. For moving select and drag it to header.

And then hit on Save Arrangement. 

Your menu has been created, if you want to categorize your post and want to use particular category in menu then then read further.

Before moving forward I have a small request.  If you have  already created label in posts, its Good!

If not then please create it first  within your post. See below how to do it.

Adding Label: 
Blogger Dashboard > Post > [Select any one] Edit > Label > [Add Label name here]

Characterize your post using Label 

If you have created label for posts then you can characterize all your  posts. And can use that particular category in menu.

Its really very easy,  before get start be sure you have created label then follow below steps. Edit your page gadget that you have created earlier. 

Edit Page Gadget > + Add External Page 

Then fill the boxes, give proper name to page title and accurate  label address. Now you might whisper how to find label address.

Your label address will be: http://[Your Blog Address]/search/label/[Your Label] (e.g. http://www.bloggrsupports.com/search/label/Beginner)

+ Add External Page

Once you filled empty boxes, hit on save link.
